A car wreck case with an underlying workers' compensation lien

Workers' compensation liens and police officers

Most of the firm's work is car wrecks involving private citizens. A car wreck involving an officer while on duty requires a different analysis and expertise.

An officer injured in a car wreck while on duty has two cases at once: the claim against the at-fault driver, and the workers' compensation lien waiting to be paid out of the settlement.

What is left after the lien is the number that matters. Justin has spent years negotiating those liens, and he will tell you what yours looks like before you accept a settlement.

Liens negotiated, not just paid
Justin has spent years negotiating workers' compensation liens for officers. Many lawyers are not familiar with these liens and the defenses that are available under Georgia law.

Officers from any agency in Georgia. Where you serve does not change whether he can take the case.
